Karen Kiyono Fukushima, 69, of Kahului, died on January 6, 2016, at her home, under the loving care of her family, and Islands Hospice.
Visitation at Nakamura Mortuary will begin at 4:00pm, on Friday, January 29, 2016, with services at 5:30pm.
Nakamura Mortuary is assisting with arrangements.
Ms. Fukushima was born on March 31, 1946, in Puunene, HI. She was a dedicated and cherished teacher for more than 30 years.
Ms. Fukushima is survived by her sons, Ryan (Misty) Fukushima, and Reid (Rani) Fukushima; her daughters, Kara (Adam) Fukushima-Olson, and Kris (Benjamin) Duquette; and her grandchildren, Zak and Ryli Fukushima, Aja, Avary, and Alexa Olson, and Remy and Harlon Duquette.
